The Kiwanis Club of Clinton Township presented a check for $15,000 at a chili cook-off-corn hole fundraiser for the Clinton Township Inclusive Playground. Last year’s club president, Kerry Jantz - a member of the Clinton Township Inclusive Playground Committee - had the privilege of suggesting how the club would disperse its fundraising proceeds for that year. The Clinton Township Kiwanis Club donated $15,000 to the project. Ground-breaking is anticipated in the spring. The playground, to be built near the main Clinton-Macomb Public Library, will serve everyone equally, including the 4,600 people in Clinton Township who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Primo - with IEP's - Ms.Clinton Township’s future inclusive playground received $1 million from the recently passed State of Michigan budget. The deadline for registration & payment is Friday, Jby 3:00 pm. Students are expected to attend Summer School to receive credit.
Classes are held Monday-Thursday (no classes on Friday) from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm. June 19th - July 27th (no summer school July 3rd - July 8). If you are interested in sending your student to summer school this year, please be sure to sign them up (information below for both schools) and reach out to their Pellerin counselor regarding which class(es) they should be enrolled in.
